The big charity knitting

Students of our school and their mothers cooperated in the project „The big knitting“. Girls, boys and their parents knitted not only at school but also voluntarily at home. The produced small hood for “Innocent-smoothie” bottles using wool rests. The bottles were sold later on in shops. For each bottle 30 cents were spent to charity businesses e.g. Caritas. These charity businesses will transfer later on the money to people and families in need.

 

 

Visit to Poland – Austrian Feedback

It was very funny and interesting. Especially the trip to Auschwitz was extremely interesting. We also heard about connections to Austria. We had a lot of fun at the Laserhouse. In summary it was a thrilling experience which I will remember for a long time. 

I liked Comenius a lot because we had a lot off fun and we visited many interesting places. I would join another Comenius Project any time. 

I enjoyed the time in Poland. It was really funny and very interesting. Every day was a lot of programme and I learned a lot about Poland and about their culture. My host was Ania and I slept in her flat. Ania has a grandmother who always spoke German with me. We made a lot of trips. One day we went to Auschwitz and Krakau. I think that was really exciting. I hope I will see my host family again one day, because I really like them.

I enjoyed the time in Poland. It was very great and I liked it. Every day it was funny and interesting. I learned a lot of Katowice. My partner Nastka was great. I talked with her a lot. I think I learned a lot of English. The best thing was the family. They were very lovely. The worst thing was that we did not have hot water at home. I hope I will see my host family again. 

I think, that the Comenius Project was a great experience and that all participants were very friendly. It was very funny and thrilling. Also my knowledge of English improved a lot because of this project. I think the trip to Auschwitz was very interesting. I will keep the Comenius Project in my mind for a long time.
