Thursday 24th Oct
In 2013 me and some other pupils from Sofiendal School in Skalborg, Denmark, went on a trip to Italy. We met up in Aalborg airport very early and we flew to Netherland, Amsterdam - the airport is called Shiphol and it is very big.
After arriving we had a little break where we had some food and then we were off to Milano in Italy. We drove to a school in a little village named Grosso where we were picked up by our families. In the evening we had dinner with our families.
Friday 25th Oct
Friday morning we met with the other pupils at the school in Grosso. We drove in a bus to Boves (Sounds Museum) where we did all kind of activities concerning music. We had lunch in the museum and afterwards we performed some music and rhythm workshops. Then we went to Nole where we had dinner with our families.
Saturday 26th Oct
In the morning we met up in school where we did some ice-breaking and integration activities which was good fun. Then we were split into groups in order to prepare for the final theatre show. We then painted a mural for the project. We had lunch in the families and some of us went to a Holy Mass in Nole and then we all had dinner together with games and integration activities.
Sunday 27th Oct
We met up at school and drove in a buss to Turin where we had orienteering games to explore the town. After that we had lunch at Valdocco and had some time off to spent on our own in the city. We went to Lingotto and Eataly before we went back to our families and had dinner with them.
Monday 28th Oct
We met at school where we - once more - had integration activities. We had workshops discovering three personalities of Italian culture and their work - Guiseppe Verdi, Filippo Juvarra and Leonard da Vinci. After having prepared for the final show again we had lunch. We had a final rehearsal of the show and had some free time to visit Nole together with our families.
Then we performed the final show in front of our families. We went back to our families where we packed our stuff in order to be ready for the journey back home next day.
Tuesday 29th Oct
We said goodbye to our kind families and friends in Italy and flew back to Aalborg via Amsterdam. We had a very interesting and good stay in Italy.
